Welcome to our starting rally, December Dash 2023. This is a novice rally, training rally, and a tune up rally all in one. Come learn to do time-speed-distance rallies! This is a straight forward TSD rally. Instructions will be very verbose to help the first time rallyist. Roads are generally paved, but may go onto smooth wide dirt roads. (Yes you can bring your lowered miata)
Classes are Experienced and Novice. Experienced means you've rallied a few times before.
All season tires are fine, tow rope/strap, and 90 minutes of flares or one DOT triangle are required to compete. Please make sure your lights and horn work on your car. There will be a light tech inspection for all cars. Also make sure your registration and inspection are up to date.
Start/Finish location: Heintzelman BBQ Pit, 6361 Knickerbocker Rd Ontario NY
We will meet in the parking lot to start and finish inside and grab some BBQ! Midway point is Orbakers, so bring cash or an ATM card if you want lunch there.
Schedule:
- Registration/Tech 9:45 to 10:45 AM
- Driver’s Meeting 10:45 AM
- First car starts 11:01 AM
- First car finishes about 3:00 PM
